De 25 maanden oude reu vertoont goede bereidwilligheid tot onderwerping. Is gehoorzaam en vriendelijk tegenover mensen. De binding met zijn begeleider is goed. De aanleg voor de jacht is meer of minder aanwezig. Prooi en apporteer drift zijn in goede mate voorhanden. Hij heeft een goed uithoudingsvermogen, en toont zich onverschrokken ten opzichtte van zijn omgeving. Hij is schotvast. Hij heeft een goed temperament en toont goede wezenseigenschappen.
